AWG Checkout Fixture Program

Ordering Instructions

The checkout is the heartbeat of the store—every shopper passes through it, making it the most visited space. As the prime spot for impulse purchases, it offers unmatched potential to boost transaction size. With a thoughtfully designed and strategically merchandised fixture, retailers can transform this high‑traffic area into a powerful driver of profitability.

Associated Wholesale Grocers (AWG) is excited to present this opportunity for our retailer partners to participate in the 2026 Checkout Fixture Program.

Everything is provided to you at NO COST.

ORDER DUE DATE: JANUARY 23, 2026

How It Works

The AWG checkout fixture program is similar to other vendor display agreements such as those contracted with Frito Lay, Pepsi or Coke. Vendors purchase dedicated display space on a portion of the fixture, which covers the cost of the entire fixture. Because of this, AWG can offer this program to our retail partners at NO COST.

For the AWG front end program, the cost of the fixtures is funded by Candy, Confectionery, Snacking and GM/HBC vendors, who contract dedicated planogram space on the new fixtures. The AWG front end checkout program runs for a period of three years.

As a participant in this program, the new fixture must remain at your front end, in planogram compliance, for the standard period of three years from date of installation.

Program Features

  • Reese's peanut butter cups and other candy bars on store shelves, with Snickers, Snickers Satisfies, and Reese's Sticks visible.

    LED Lighting - Included

All fixtures include low-voltage LED lighting that enhances the visibility of your products. The lighting strips are low-profile and do not interfere with merchandising or stocking. To opt out of LED check the box on the order form

  • A grocery store aisle with a sign that says 'The Kitchen' and various snack items on display.

Grocery TV Checkout Display - Included

Every second fixture includes a digital display that plays promotional and entertainment content to grow sales and improve the checkout experience for your customers. Each store receives a revenue share of all advertising and can upload their own content to highlight in-store promotions and events.

  • Three digital display stands with promotional content in a minimalist setting. The left stand shows a red and white graphic, the middle stand displays images of food labeled 'Fresh Catch Fridays,' and the right stand features a blue graphic with empty wire baskets below.

AWG In-Store RMN Program - Optional

Stores have an opportunity to receive an additional revenue share offered by the AWG In- Store RMN Program powered by Grocery TV. Please click here for more information.
